If there is one artist in Canada who deserves a podium honoring her work like this beautiful blog does, created by Ugo Matulic, it is my good friend Simone McLeod/Aki-egwaniizid. Her art, which expresses the universe of the Peoples of the First Nations, very much deserves to stand at the center, at the very heart of Canadian society as a whole.
